Joshua Mehr Krupp was born to Bonnie and Jan Krupp on September 4th 1973 in Phoenix Arizona. He was a cute, bright, and curious baby, who grew into a brilliant and handsome young man. Joshua graduated from College Preparatory School in Oakland where he had many friends and played on their soccer team He attended the University of Rochester for two years but his love of winemaking and viticulture motivated him to transfer to Davis. In 1998 he graduated from Davis with a degree in viticulture, enology, and economics. He began making wine for Fisher Winery where one of his first wines received 94 points from the Wine Spectator. After several years there he left to make wine for the family winery and several other Napa wine brands. In 2005 he met Janette Berglez and fell deeply in love. They were married in 2006. In early 2007 Joshua decided to make wine in Australia and spend most of his year there. He continued to travel to California to do some winemaking. Tragically he died at the age of 36 on October 6, 2009
