Charles Bernstein
Charles Bernstein, born October 3, 1925, passed away March 15, 2010 at the age of 84. A resident of Sacramento since 1971, Chuck Bernstein relocated with his family from Milwaukee, Wisconsin as President of Elaine Powers Figure Salons based in Sacramento. He was an avid tennis player and swimmer into his senior years. He was a WWII navy veteran and served until 1946. Chuck Bernstein is survived by his wife Helene, three sons Robert, John, Richard (spouse Linda), and grandchildren Kaitlin and Jeffrey Bernstein. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 1:30pm, at Home of Peace Cemetery 6200 Stockton Blvd, Sacramento. A reception for friends and family will be held following the services at the Red Lion Sacramento Inn next to Arden Fair Mall.
